First Ever CS & ES Achievers Awards

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa is renowned not only for the quality graduates it produces but also for its innovative and trendsetting ideas that transform the country’s ICT industry. This year the Department of CSE is introducing a new dimension to Sri Lanka’s ICT culture by organizing the first ever CS & ES Achiever Awards Ceremony to recognise and appreciate the contribution of CSE alumni towards the development and growth of the ICT industry of Sri Lanka!

CS & ES Achiever Awards 2013 organised in parallel with the Annual General Meeting of the department of CSE, would recognise the outstanding achievements of the CSE graduates under the following categories;

Outstanding Academic Performer Award recognizes an outstanding individual who has maintained high performance standards throughout the educational career.

Emerging Entrepreneur Award recognizes an exceptional individual who has created a business that has great potential and which makes a significant contribution to the society.

Outstanding Contribution to ICT Industry Award recognizes an individual who has excelled in his contribution to the growth and development of the Industry.

Woman in Computing Award recognizes an outstanding female for her contribution and achievements in the field of computing.

ICT Business Innovation Award recognizes the most innovative product, service, technology or business in the field of ICT.

The Computer Science & Engineering Society of University of Moratuwa invites all the graduates of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering to apply or nominate for these awards and to be recognized at the inaugural CS & ES Achievers Awards 2013 Ceremony. The CS & ES also sends an open invitation to all the ICT companies to nominate their employees who are the graduates of the Department of CSE, to be regcognised at the prestigious event of the CS & ES Awards Ceremony 2013 Nominations are now accepted at http://awards.cse.mrt.ac.lk/award-categories/
