Microsoft unveils the Microsoft Customer Immersion Experience

On the 28th of January 2016, Microsoft introduced the Microsoft Customer Immersion Experience (CIE) facility. This newly revealed facility by Microsoft creates a platform for businesses and IT facilitators. This platform allows them to have the opportunity to interact themselves and come across instances which they will confront in the real world along with the required tools. In other words, the CIE facility will project organizations with a vision on how they can reach their untapped true potential. This is done by accompanying various digital technologies within the premises that can aid in increasing overall productivity and commercial growth.

CIE emerges Microsoft users in routine business scenarios such as performing tasks remotely, analysing sales data, engaging with co-workers and proving how Microsoft products help to make everything function smoothly. These CIE sessions take place in-person or remotely and is conducted by a Microsoft trained facilitator.

Addressing the participants of the occasion, Brian Kealey who is Microsoft’s Country Manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives had this to say, “It is an exciting time for us to introduce the CIE facility to Sri Lanka as part of a global Microsoft initiative. This facility is a hands-on experience centre where we will work with organizations and our partners to share industry best practices showcasing how we are reinventing productivity and business processes. This is a key part of our mission to help every person and every organisation on the planet to achieve more. The productivity of Sri Lankan organisations is key to achieving our fullest potential in the global market and I see it as core to our mission of enabling Sri Lanka to achieve its potential.”
CIE’s life-like experience embarks the users on a journey through normal situations which take place in a business on a daily basis. These may include how to be productive being mobile, accompanying social networking tools to maximize output from teams, and establishing a connection between co-workers and clients.
The CIE also gives an opportunity try out many Microsoft products like Windows 10 on an array of devices which includes tablets, PCs, and smartphones. Other examples Microsoft technologies you’ll find at the CIE are Office 365, Office, Exchange, SharePoint, Skype for business, Project, Visio, Windows, Windows Phone, Dynamics CRM and the Enterprise Management Suite.
